Traditional wedding cakes are typically vanilla pound cake, with an outside layer of butter cream and are usually in a stacked cake style (no dividers – layers rest on each other).
However, you may choose a variety of flavors (one flavor per tier) and style, whether it be stacked or separated with satellite cakes (cakes outside of the typical tier, brought together by connectors, i.e. bridges, ribbons).
All layers will be coated with buttercream.
